Sometimes
I can’t sleep, I toss in my bed
Eyes turning red, thinking about the love
story that I read
About a man who had a crown of thorns
placed onto his head
People said he was dead because this man
came and bled
As I shake at tremble, I toss and I turn
There’s more to this story that
I seem to learn
That God died for grateful and ungrateful
people
Even when they didn't’t treat him
like an equal
The sequel, three days after that God
arose
God left all his old clothes; everybody
ought to know
That the best love story that could ever
been told
Is when Jesus Christ died for my soul
As
my tears flow they just don’t seem
to stop
Every time I think about it another tear
drops
In the gospel when God shed His precious
blood
It was me, Paul Andrew that God was thinking
of
Hands bruised and scared
Greater love, none by far
He remains my all and all, my bright and
morning star
His dispatches, and attaches angels to
my side
He’s calling for me one day to be
his bride
Every time I think about it, I fall in
love over again
I can’t explain it; God is just
more than a friend
The best love story that could ever been
told
Is when Jesus Christ died for my soul
I
pictured his hands being pierced with
an eye full of tears
I never knew a love like this; it took
me so many years
Even when people didn't’t want to
be by my side
You stuck by my side and made me clean
inside
Even at times when I made you cry
You still wouldn't’t let the love
you had for me die
Out of all the love stories that’s
ever been told
The best one was when you died for my
soul.
